celebrates philanthropy in the Northland
THE 2025 PINNACLE AWARD
The Pinnacle Award celebrates philanthropy in the Northland. It is presented each year by the Northland Community Foundation to recognize and honor individuals, groups and businesses that best exemplify civic pride and leadership, individual and neighborhood caring, and have made significant charitable contributions either by personal deeds or monetary commitments to our community.
RECIPIENT QUALIFICATIONS
- The recipient does not have to be a resident of the Northland.
- The recipient’s contributions must benefit the residents of Clay and/or Platte counties.
- The recipient may be an individual, business or civic organization.
- Past recipients are not eligible for the award.
- The recipient cannot be a current Northland Community Foundation board member.
Our intent is to recognize the individuals, businesses and civic organizations that provide philanthropy rather than organizations that benefit from philanthropy
AWARD CRITERIA
- The recipient must have exhibited outstanding civic responsibility as demonstrated by a contribution of financial resources and/or voluntary commitment of time.
- The recipient must have exhibited leadership in the community by a willingness to serve in leadership roles; creativity and vision; and/or the ability to involve others in philanthropic activity.
- The contributions of the recipient must have had a significant impact for Clay and/or Platte counties.
- The recipient’s concerns and efforts within their field must exceed the normal scope of community service.
NOMINATION PROCESS
- Nominations for award recipients are solicited each year.
- Northland nonprofit organizations are notified of the nomination process.
- Individuals, organizations or businesses are eligible to submit nominations.
- Nominations are made by completing a nomination form, which is due by April 4, 2025.
Nominations must be received by April 4, 2025.
